Yesterday you tried out a new sound, and it made you giggle
Yesterday you found your toes again, and tried to make them wiggle
Yesterday you couldn't hold on to your keys and I watched you get mad
Yesterday you couldn't roll off your tummy and I saw you get frustrated
Yesterday you played and played and didn't know I could see
Yesterday you turned around and laughed out loud at me.

I'm working on a poem for Zoe called "Yesterday" and this is the VERRRRRY rough cut. Obviously it's in need of serious revision! ;) But, yesterday she had RICE CEREAL for the first time! And it made me nostalgic. She's growing and growing and growing. She has to be the best baby ever...she never complains, always smiles, LOVES her exersaucer, and she's always willing to sit patiently while I tend to Daniel's needs too. I can't wait to watch her blossom!
